Flow and spray
Whether the shower is still good. A filter that ruins the shower is a filter you stop using, which filters nothing.
Our standard
This is the commitment VANNR holds itself to while VANNR ONE is being developed. It is deliberately specific, so you can hold us to it.
Concept visual. Final product design may change.
A certificate for a different filter, cartridge or test condition is not proof for the product a customer receives. VANNR's published evidence will apply to the final production configuration.
Claims will be based on the product as manufactured and shipped—not on a supplier's sample, a similar housing or a different cartridge.
A filtration result without its test conditions is decoration. We will publish the laboratory, the protocol, the water used and the volume tested.
We will state plainly what VANNR ONE does not do, including where a shower filter is the wrong tool for the problem.
Batch traceability is a design target so that a result can be tied to the run it came from.
A filter you cannot easily service is a filter that stops working silently. Replacement is a first-order design constraint.
Beta installations and founding-member feedback feed back into the product before it is finalised.
The order matters
01
Whether the shower is still good. A filter that ruins the shower is a filter you stop using, which filters nothing.
02
It is a pressurised joint on a bathroom wall. Leaks get tested before anything else is promised.
03
Independent testing of the finished production configuration, once the hardware is settled. Testing an early sample would produce a number we would have to withdraw.
Filtration sits deliberately last. Publishing a figure measured on a prototype would mean retracting it later.
We will not call a shower filter a whole-home water softener. We will not promise medical or dermatological results. We will not publish a substance list we cannot evidence for the production product. We will not use fabricated reviews, invented customer counts, borrowed press logos or laboratory imagery that implies testing we have not done.
Supplier marketing copy is not evidence. Where a manufacturer's listing makes claims about skin, hair or specific contaminants, those claims stay with the manufacturer until we have tested the finished product ourselves.
We will not publish an internal diagram of the product that we drew ourselves. If you see a cross-section here, it came from the people who make the tooling.
If we get something wrong, we will correct it on this page rather than quietly deleting it.
